The Baader Laser Collimator is an extrememly popular accessory that gives very accurate collimation (optical allignment) of all Newtonian and Schmidt-Cassegrain reflector telescopes, essential for getting the most out of your telescope.If your telescope is out of collimation, images will get distorted and you will not be able to achieve a proper, pinpoint focus at some higher magnifications, this small accessory fits into your eyepiece holder and assists in re-aligning your optics to correct these distortions (see instructions below)

We also recommend the use of a self centering adapter if you are going to use this on a two inch focuser so that the collimator can be accurately centered.
