DWARF II Smart Telescope - Deluxe Bundle .
Introducing DWARF II - the compact smart telescope controlled by your smartphone app.
Are you an amateur astronomer, bird watcher, wildlife photographer, or just a photography enthusiast that wants to capture things you can’t get close enough to, like a ball game or a galaxy? Well, DWARF II is exactly what you need.
The Classic edition includes a DWARF II, a carrying bag, a tripod, a replaceable battery and a 64GB microSD card.
The Deluxe edition includes all items that are included in the Classic edition, plus one extra battery, one UHC filter, two ND (solar) filters and a filter adapter.
Please note, Tring Astronomy offers only the Deluxe bundle at the moment as we believe that most customers would sooner or later buy the additional accessories anyway. Depending on the demand and customer interest, we might decide to offer the Classic edition and the optional accessories separately in the future.
Dwarf II Features
Versatile to Take Shots of DSO, Birds and Animals
DWARF II is a compact smart telescope with dual camera and AI power. You can take shots of deep sky objects, Galaxy and Nebula. Watch and record videos of birds and animals.
Easy to Control with Your Mobile Device
Connect your smartphone/tablet with DWARF II via WiFi, then you can wirelessly control DWARF II through DWARFLAB App (available in Android & iOS) and take pictures/videos. We will provide API and developer documentation, so you can even run your own programs on DWARF II.
Dual Camera System
DWARF II has two cameras, a wide-angle camera, and a telephoto camera. Through the wide-angle camera, you can take pictures/videos as a normal camera, or preview the field of view. Find the target in the middle of the wide-angle view, then the telephoto camera is aiming your target. And the telephoto image is always at a fixed place (near the center ) of the wide-angle image.
Auto Star Tracking & Stacking for Astrophotography
Due to Earth’s rotation, the stars move slowly in the sky. DWARF II can automatically track the stars. It can rotate around the altitude and azimuth along the movement of stars. DWARF II uses a field-rotation-correction algorithm to avoid the field rotation. Then you can use DWARF II to track deep-sky objects with long exposure time. Automatic registration after multiple exposures, DWARF II stacks the images into a bright and clear image. It helps you to record deep-sky objects easily.
AI Powered Object Recognition and Tracking
Whether it's a bird or a ball player, DWARF II's neural network processing unit (NPU) automatically recognizes and tracks the movement of your chosen subject. If the action slows down, you're one click away from zooming-in for a closer look. Our panoramic and telephoto lenses are always kept in sync and our app enables one-click switching between them.
Compact, Portable, Powerful
Weighing in at 1.2 kg (2.6 lbs) you can take DWARF II anywhere, in its custom-padded bag or in a backpack.

Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
What kind of telescope is the DWARF II? Why is it different from the telescopes I've see?
The shape of the DWARF II is special. Because we use a periscope structure to lower the center of its gravity and enhance its stability. This structure makes DWARF II look different from other telescopes.
How does the DWARF II take deep space photos?
It consists of the following three steps: Automatic calibration. DWARF II will automatically shoot 3 images of the sky, and based on these 3 images, the current attitude, tilt, and orientation of the DWARF II can be calculated. GOTO. DWARF II integrates the star atlas, confirming the star to be observed, and it can read the coordinates of the star and point it directly. Tracking. The trajectory of each star in the star atlas has been solved in DWARF II, allowing the star to be automatically tracked.
What kind of deep space photos can the DWARF II shoot?
Based on the parameters of the camera, DWARF II is suitable for the DSOs whose angular size is above 15 arc minutes and the apparent magnitude is below 9, such as NGC2264, NGC5128, NGC6960, NGC1499, M6, M7, M8, M16, M17, M20, M41, M42, M44, M45, M81, M101, IC4604. As long as the cumulative exposure time is long enough and the sky tracking is stable, the weak signals of the nebula can be accumulated, and a variety of nebulae can be photographed.
Does the DWARF II support RAW format shooting?
Yes, the DWARF II supports TIFF RAW fomat.
Easy to use, can get photos my other telescopes can’t with out lots of effort and expense.
Dwarf 11 is a great bit of kit, I have a Astro fi 150 telescope which is great for planets and star clusters. The Dwarf 11 goes where my other Telescopes cannot . So far I’ve used it to track and photograph the Sun ( it came with solar filters) I also got my first photo of Andromeda. You cannot compare it to an £8000 dedicated Astro set up. But if like me you just want to take photographs of deep space, or film nature then buy the Dwarf 11."
